On September 3, the first Overseas Chinese Businessman (Fujian) Investment Conference opened in Fuzhou. The conference, with its theme focused on "Entrepreneurship in China, Overseas Chinese Gathering in Fujian", was jointly held by Fujian Provincial People's Government and All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, with China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, Fujian Federation of Overseas Chinese, Fujian Federation of Overseas Chinese Businessmen as the organizer. Chairman of Rong Qiao Group was invited to attend and address the conference as a representative of overseas Chinese enterprises. During the conference, more than 200 representatives of overseas Chinese businessmen gathered in Fuzhou to enjoy the friendship and seek common development. They studied and implemented the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping on July 1 and the spirit of his important speech during his inspection tour in Fujian, jointly writing a new chapter of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way by contributing to the construction of Fujian.  

Yin Li,secretary ofthe Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, on behalf of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, extended a sincere welcome to overseas Chinese businessmen and folks attending the conference. He hoped for overseas Chinese businessmen to align their business development with the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and join the construction of new Fujian in the new stage of development as participants, contributors and witnesses. The Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government will, as always, provide all-round support to overseas Chinese businessmen in their investment and business development. Wan Lijun, chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, extended warm congratulations on the opening of the conference on behalf of the Federation, saying that the Federation will unite and rally overseas Chinese and make due contributions to the cause of the Party and the state. It will strengthen strategic cooperation with Fujian in an all-round way and support the development of New Fujian, added Wan.

Chairman of Rong Qiao Group addressed the conference, saying, “We will try our best to help our hometown realize economic development by attracting more overseas Chinese to build more platforms. Rongqia, by actively aligning the national strategy and synchronizing with the reform and opening-up of the motherland, has become a full-industry, comprehensive foreign investment enterprise. Rong Qiao has been passed down for three generations, and it always takes root in hometown and gives back to society. We will go all out to fulfill our duties, carry forward the patriotic dedication of overseas Chinese, contribute to the prosperity of our country and create value for the society.”
